Premeir John Horgan has issued a statement commemorating Family Day in BC.
“B.C. Family Day is a day for people to spend time with their loved ones and join in community celebrations,” Horgan said.
Horgan says in order to make Family Day accessible to everyone, British Columbia’s government has partnered with BC Recreation and Parks Association to fund free family friendly activities and events in communities around the province.
“It’s part of our commitment to make life better and more affordable for you and your family,” Horgan said.
The Chetwynd District Recreation Centre is having its family day festivities on Monday, November 12 from 8 am to 4 pm.
It’s an opportunity to spend the day with family and to get out of the house and get active.
