2018-2020 BC Hunting and Trapping Regulations Synopsis released

The BC Government released the 2018-2020 Hunting and Trapping Regulations Synopsis yesterday.

The synopsis details up-to-date rules and regulations for hunters in BC, which aim to ensure conservation of wildlife and habitat, maintain or enhance recreational opportunities, and address safety concerns. The new and updated rules take effect July 1st, and remain in effect until June 30th, 2020.

The government updates the synopsis every two years, based upon current information on wildlife populations, and consultations with stakeholders, including hunting and conservation organizations and local governments.

Copies will be available in the near future at Lonestar Sports in Chetwynd, at the Groundbirch General Store, or at Corlane Sporting Goods in Dawson Creek.
