Bomb Threat In High Prairie School

A bomb threat led to the evacuation of a High Prairie Catholic School yesterday afternoon.

St. Andrew’s School, which covers grades Kindergarten through 12, was evacuated following the verbal threat and RCMP were called in to investigate.

All students and faculty were accounted for following the evacuation.

Later in the evening, police cleared the school to return to normal operation, and it will be open during regular hours today.

No information has been released on how or why the threat was issued.
