BC Liberal leadership candidate Mike De Jong is blaming the new NDP government for the ICBC’s financial struggles.

This comes following the corporation posting a loss of over 930 million dollars over the first nine months of its fiscal year.

De Jong blames the government’s failure to capitalize on a 2016 report issued by the Liberal government.

He goes on to claim that the NDP inherited a strong economy, and that an expected 300 million dollar loss has ballooned to nearly triple that amount under their watch.
