Drive BC has issued travel advisories on the Alaska Highway between Taylor and Mile 83, on Highway 29 between Hudson’s Hope and the junction with the Alaska Highway, and on Highway 103 between Fort St. John and the Alberta border. Officials are also asking motorists to be mindful of snow plows and salt trucks and ensure they have enough space to do their jobs. Salt is expected to be applied to the highways over the next couple of days. The forecast is calling for freezing rain until 2:00 tomorrow morning, and motorists are asked to take road conditions into consideration during their evening commutes.
