Grande Prairie RCMP have charged a 19 year old man with second degree murder following the death of a 16 year old girl.  The body of Hannah Sutton was found on the morning of December 16th in an apartment suite near 94th Avenue and 100th Street. An autopsy conducted by the medical Examiner’s Office in Edmonton concluded that the teenager was killed by a gunshot wound. Facing charges is her boyfriend, Justice Watts-Blais, of Grande Prairie. Four other men have also been charged in connection to this case, and charges of accessory after the fact to murder are pending. Watts-Blais remains in police custody and will appear in court on January 3rd, 2018. This is the city’s first homicide of the year, and the girl’s family has set up a Go Fund Me page to help cover funeral expenses: https://www.gofundme.com/hannahs-funeral-expenses
