Guns and Drugs Found During Grande Prairie Traffic Stop

Grande Prairie R-C-M-P have a man in custody after a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of multiple prohibited firearms.

During the traffic stop in a hotel parking lot over the weekend, police determined the vehicle to be stolen, and decided to conduct further searches.

37 year-old Grande Prairie native Jeremy Rozon was found to be in possession of three illegal firearms, a large amount of ammunition, and a small amount of meth.

Rozon is now facing ten charges including: possession of property obtained by crime, multiple counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of a controlled substance.

Rozon will appear in court tomorrow.
