ICBC is sending out a reminder to the public about the dangers of holiday driving. They state that on average, there are about 150 crashes in the north between Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, resulting in an average of 40 injuries. ICBC spokesperson Doug MacDonald advises that before you leave, ensure that your car has enough tire pressure, fluid, and oil. The public is also being reminded to maintain focus on the road, drive according to conditions and consider how they are going to get home before heading on the roads this holiday season.
