The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is reminding the public to plan ahead and drive to road conditions if they plan to travel this long weekend. Freezing rain, poor visibility and icy conditions are expected in various parts of the province, and drivers are urged to exercise caution when they encounter bad weather or limited visibility. Drivers are also reminded to ensure that their vehicle is equipped with winter tires that has the Mountain/snowflake or mud and snow (M + S) symbol. For up to the minute driving conditions, please visit drivebc.ca.
