Prince George is the 11th most dangerous place in Canada, according to MacLean’s magazine.
According to MacLean’s website, their annual Canada’s Most Dangerous Places report ranks communities according to the Crime Severity Index, or CSI, a Stats Canada measure of all police-reported crime. The index takes into consideration the volume and seriousness of offenses. Prince George finished just behind 10th-ranked Selkirk, Manitoba. North Battleford, Saskatchewan, ranked 1st.
Notably, Dawson Creek ranked 17th on the list, and Fort St. John ranked 27th.
