The BC Conservation Officer Service is warning people about the consequences of illegally dumping materials, especially the dumping of sewage or grey water. This comes after a concerned Fort St. John resident warned the Conservation Officer Service of Facebook posts that said it is lawful to discharge sewage and grey water in backyards and ditches. The C.O.S. would like to remind residents in the Peace River Regional District that it is unlawful to dump sewage or grey water into the environment. Such acts can lead up to $1 million dollars in fines and or six months in prison. Photo courtesy of Energetic City.
