One person has suffered from minor injuries following a rollover in Taylor this morning. The incident, which happened around the new highway pullout being built on Highway 97 just south of Taylor, occurred before 5:30 this morning. The driver, who was the lone occupant of the car, swerved to miss a deer as the vehicle was heading northbound on the Alaska Highway. As a result, the driver lost control and rolled over several times after ending up in a ditch next to the northbound lane. The driver was able to walk away from the incident, and was assessed by paramedics for minor injuries. Due to emergency vehicles on the scene, the road was reduced to single lane alternating traffic just after 5:30 AM. At this point, it is unknown if the road has fully reopened.
