Two Peace Region organizations are doing their part to console those opposed to the government’s Site C decision.
The Peace Valley Solidarity Initiative has scheduled a summit to take place in Victoria on January 26th and 27th.
The summit is an attempt to clarify questions that many have over the decision to keep Site C going despite unfavourable BCUC reports.
Meanwhile, the Peace Valley Landowner’s Association is just over a quarter of their way to their 100 thousand dollar fundraising goal to assist those affected by the Dam.
The fundraiser is to help pay bills not covered by the BCUC as a result of the mega dam’s construction.
