In an update on a previous story, the second degree murder trial of Leon Wokeley has been adjourned until February 21st.

Wokeley’s lawyer, Georges Rivard, informed the court that Crown Counsel has provided him with a batch of disclosure in the form of a hard drive with thousands of pages of documents. He requested that Judge Brian Daley adjourn the case until February so he can review the documents and determine the best course of action to defend Wokeley. Wokeley has been charged with second degree murder in the 2014 death of First Nations resident Pamela Napoleon.
